What's In My Handbag?

Hello my favourite people on the internet! I've noticed a lot of What's In My Handbag posts since moving into Autumn so I thought I'd give it a try myself.

As it happens, my bag contents don't change that much from season to season. The biggest change usually comes when I'm heading for a night out, where as well as the contents you can see below, I have to find space for lots of other things such as flat shoes for the journey home after a drink or seven, an umbrella because Scotland likes to bless your night-out hair with lashings of rain, plasters etc. The last night out I was on I actually left in such a rush that I had a pair of odd flat shoes in my bag. Great job.

For the purpose of this photo I took the liberty of removing other items that fell out but weren't so appealing to the eye. These included a pair of ankle socks, approximately 5000 receipts, anything that Babycat has decided to chew on that she shouldn't be chewing, a chocolate Twirl wrapper and nail clippers.

(Click-through links below)

LYDC Owl Purse - this was a gift from my sister's ex girlfriend. The main thing for me in a purse is that I can use it easily without getting all lost in different compartments and making my life a misery when I'm trying to pay for things and this does just that. Plus, it's covered in owls. Always a bonus.

Little Black Owl Purse - this is where I keep coins for parking/lunch etc. Again, it has an owl on it so a winner in my eyes.

My car key - I don't really know about cars but I am in love with this car. I got it earlier this year and fall in love with it again every time I see it. My first car was a Renault Clio which I adored but since my work office moved I needed something with a bit more power. Have a peek here. That colour!

Mikado - I'm like a mum in one way only...I like to always have a snack in my bag for emergency bouts of hunger. Not worth getting hangry.

To Kill A Mockingbird - to pass the time if I'm ever waiting. I like to have a book that I can easily pick up at any time and find myself lost in it and this is one of my all time favourites.

Schwarzkopf Got2B Texturising Powder - my hair is really fine so this helps give it a bit of volume when I'm on the go without back combing and making it full of knots. I love this stuff, it works wonders.

Daisy Dream by Marc Jacobs - for me, this is the perfect everyday fragrance. Not too heavy but keeps you smelling dreamy throughout the day.

Dove Original Deodorant - this is my go to antiperspirant. I love that it smells so clean and fresh, like you've just stepped out the shower.

Herbal Essences Dry Shampoo - my hair is a total git in that it needs washed all the time. I realise how bad this is for your hair so I'm trying out this dry shampoo in my never ending quest to find the dry shampoo that works for me. I did really like Aussie's dry shampoo however I've bought it three times and each time the spray has broken leaving me unable to use half the bottle. So far so good with this one though.

Nintendo 2DS - Another one for passing the time. I opted for the 2DS over the 3DS because I get migraines and game screens can set these off. My favourite thing to play is Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Yes I am turning 27 this month WHAT OF IT?!

My Links Of London Bracelet - this was a gift from an old boss of mine when I worked as a PA. It was the best job I've ever had and I miss it terribly so! I wear this bracelet more than any other piece of jewellery I have as I love it and find that it goes with almost every outfit ever. I also keep a couple of little rings in my bag as  I'm terrible for leaving the house without jewellery on so I can pop these on once I realise what I've done again.

Make Up Bits & Pieces - I tend not to carry a lot of make up with me and just take the bare minimum for touch ups just in case. In the picture I have Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation, a Kate Moss Rimmel lipstick, a Barry M lipstick and some Nivea chapstick. I also carry a kohl eyeliner with me but I'm not too fussy with eyeliners. I've found myself spending more on MAC ones and being left disappointed so I tend to always fall back on Collection 2000 and other drugstore brands.

Does your bag change much depending on the seasons? Also, if you have hair that needs washed all the time like mine please let me know of any dry shampoos you've found that work for you because it is the bane of my LIFE.
