Benefit Posiebalm*

Aloha my lovelies. Today I bring you a post about one of my favourite Benefit products that I've been using daily at the moment as we slide, quite literally in several towns in Scotland, into the colder weather. If you've read my "About" page you'll know that when it comes to make up I reach for easy, go-to products. This is because a) I'm by no means a make up expert and b) I always choose long lies over faffing (which is basically what I'm doing every time I put make up on, faffing about with it until I lose the will to live and give up). Time to sit down and watch some tutorials I reckon. ANYWAY...

In the winter time (and also when I'm poorly) my lips need lots of extra care and attention and Benefit's Posiebalm fits into my last-minute life really well.

"A perfect pucker! Posiebalm conditions & hydrates with mango butter and sodium hyaluronate. This poppy-pink tinted kiss of sheer, buildable color gives you the softest, prettiest lips."

When I do put on a face of make up I wear this over my lipstick and when I go without make up (if you follow me on Twitter you might have noticed I'm doing this more often) I still pop this on to keep my lips hydrated and to give them a little hint of colour. Note that when I say "little hint" I really mean it, so if you're not down with the barely-there look definitely pair this with your lippy.

This retails for £14.50 which is more than I would usually pay for a lip balm but there are a good few reasons why I would go out and buy this for myself: when wearing it I've never been left with a weird taste in my mouth/I don't have to re-apply too often to keep my lips feeling hydrated/it stays in place after application so it doesn't leave me feeling like I have balm all over my face/it's a product that takes up like 0.000154% of my time because it's pretty faff-proof.

What do you guys think of this product?

Also, are any of you willing to come work for me and apply a glorious face of make up on me every morning? No?

*This product was gifted however all opinions are my own, pinky promise

    1. Honestly I've been using it daily and it feels like I've barely touched it so it seems to last a while! A wise investment I think haha xx

  3. I'm getting into Benefit make-up! I might try this out. I'm currently using their eyebrow pencil in medium shade and I have never loved a product so much, I'm not that good at make-up but it's easy to use. Their highlighters are fab too. x

  4. This sounds like a really nice balm! I've never tried any Benefit lip products but I love a good balm in the Winter as sometimes my lips are too dry for actual lipstick. I love the shade too! Great review! XO -Kim

  6. Ooooh I got a Benefit gift card for Christmas and I can't decide what to treat myself to! Might have to pick this up though, I've been looking for a good tinted lip balm for when I'm not wearing much make up!
